What is CVVMC / Overview
The Club de Vol à Voile de la Motte du Caire (CVVMC) operates an airfield and a gliding school in the region of La Motte-du-Caire. The club offers interested people the opportunity to get to know gliding – whether through guest flights (Baptême de l’air) or a comprehensive training as an independent glider pilot. The airfield is located in a scenic environment and is aimed at both beginners and experienced pilots who want to deepen their skills.
Offer of training & Costs
The CVVMC offers two central offerings: First, guest flights (i.e., trial flights). Experience flights) for those who just want to experience gliding once. Secondly, a complete gliding training with theoretical and practical training – from the basics to the training to the independent glider. The training includes both flight engineering, meteorology and safety rules and is supervised by experienced flight instructors.

Conditions for training
The CVVMC is aimed at people who are interested in gliding – both absolute beginners and those with first flight experience. A membership or registration with the association is necessary, as well as the willingness to participate in theory and practice lessons. Instructors attach importance to providing in-depth information on flight engineering, meteorology and safety aspects in order to create a solid basis for independent gliding.
