Offer of training
Flug GmbH offers training for the Ultralight flight license, tailored to beginners without previous experience as well as to pilots who already have a license and want to change planes. In the training, theoretical and practical components are integrated, and modern UL aircraft with bow and spur wheel configurations are used. In addition, retraining is offered, for example by other types of pilots, as well as special programs such as scenic flights, charter offers and Alpine briefings.
Requirements
For the UL training at Flug GmbH, interested parties should bring a health suitability in the form of an aero-medical medical examination. Good knowledge of German and English as well as motivation and technical willingness are also in demand. Since modern ultralight aircraft are technically demanding, a certain technical understanding and a good spatial orientation help.
Costs
The costs for the UL training are transparently presented at Flug GmbH: There is a registration fee, a theory and ground instruction as well as a price per flight minute in practical training. The total cost depends on the individual learning progress, the selected aircraft and the number of flight hours.

1. How long does UL training take?
Duration depends on learning progress, weather conditions and the chosen class of aircraft; minimum practice is required.
2. Can I start without a prior flight license?
Yes – The Ultralight training at Flug GmbH is also designed for beginners without pilot experience.
3. What medical requirements apply?
An aero-medical medical examination is required; for UL, the requirements are lower compared to commercial pilots.
4. What are the costs?
The costs include, among other things, registration fee, theory and ground briefing, practice flight time per minute plus fuel and landing fees.
