Offer of training

Overview

FlyBy Aviation Academy, based in Spain (Burgos location), offers aspiring commercial pilots several programs ranging from complete training without prior knowledge to special Cadet programs. The target group are so-called “ab initio” students, i.e. applicants with little or no flight experience.

Programmes in detail

The main programmes shall include, inter alia:
– An integrated ATPL course** that leads from the ground up to the European Standard (EASA) scheduled service license.
– A **cadet program** that goes beyond the integrated course and includes guaranteed training as a flight instructor.
In addition, there are mentoring and airline programs that offer direct career links in cooperation with airlines.

Table of training offer & Costs

Programme Duration / Content Price
Integrated ATPL Approximately 14 months, theory + flight training up to CPL/ME/IR + MCC € 79,500 (All-Inclusive)
Cadet programme Integrated ATPL + FI course + 1 year flight instructor job (≈ 29 months) € 101,600 (All-Inclusive)

Costs

The costs of pilot training at FlyBy are clearly designed and aim at an “all-inclusive” model: accommodation, meals, shuttle service, theory and flight lessons as well as examination and license fees are included in the package. For example, the Integrated ATPL model includes a complete package for the price of about € 79,500. Those who omit parts such as accommodation or food can receive reduced prices accordingly. In the Cadet program, approximately €101,600 costs the all-inclusive version, which includes the training plus the subsequent flight instructor assignment. Please note: Exceeding the regular training period may generate additional costs, especially for accommodation or food.

Requirements

The minimum requirements for FlyBy are as follows:
– Applicants must be at least 17 years old to apply and usually 18 years old at the start of the course.
An unrestricted EASA Class 1 medical certificate must be obtained or passed.
– Participation in a selection and aptitude test with examinations in personality, English, mathematics and physics.
– For applicants/internationally, a language proficiency Level ICAO English 4 applies.
Further requirements such as minimum visual performance or color recognition are checked separately within the framework of the medical check.
