Overview
The GVVN (Groupe de vol-à-voile Neuchâtel) is a gliding club based in Neuchâtel (Switzerland). The club offers interested people the opportunity to get to know gliding – whether in the context of passenger flights, trial flights or a structured gliding pilot training. The GVVN is aimed at people who want to experience the fascination of silent flying and brings curiosity and commitment. Its offer includes both leisure flights and training as a gliding pilot.
Offer of training
At the GVVN you can complete a gliding pilot training. In addition, flights are offered for passengers – for example as a start to flying or as a gift idea. The association provides information about “Formation de pilote” and “Vols passagers”, i.e. both about training content and flight opportunities.
Requirements
The association is aimed at people who have enthusiasm for flying and interest in gliding. Typical requirements are a minimum age (usually from about 14 to 16 years), physical fitness and a certain flexibility in time. Since no specific specifications are mentioned on the website, a direct request is recommended if you are interested.
Costs
Concrete costs for passenger flights or gliding training are not publicly listed on the website. Interested parties should contact the club directly to obtain current prices, membership models and flight hours.
