Offer of training & Costs
How is the training going?
Interested parties from about 14 years can get a taster membership in the gliding. This usually includes 10 flights with double tax on one of the club's double-seaters together with an experienced flight instructor. So you can gain first practical experience and get a feeling for flying.
At the same time, you get to know the behavior at the airfield and take part in the care of experienced members of the association. If you want to fly on after the trial offer, you can become a regular member of the club and start with further training as a gliding pilot.
Voucher and test flights
Entry is via a voucher for the first 10 flights – issued by name, non-transferable and to be purchased by advance payment. After completing the 10 flights as a taster member, you can look at a good assessment of whether gliding is the right hobby. If favored, there is the possibility to continue the training in the association.

Conditions for entry
Age & Membership
The association allows entry as a trial member from about 14 years. This makes it possible to get started quite early – ideal for young people or young adults with an interest in gliding.
Interest, motivation and health
Since gliding is an active hobby with responsibility, those responsible expect commitment and willingness to familiarize themselves with flight operations and safety rules. Before the first flight, a briefing at the place and a thorough inspection of the aircraft by flight instructors - safety and awareness are paramount.
Insurance & Organisation
During the trial phase, you are also insured with the competent national association – this offers security and makes it easier to get started. In the event of successful conclusion and continuation in the association, the regular terms and conditions of the association and membership fees apply.
