Skyborne Airline Academy is one of the newer, modern flight academies in the UK and specializes in training future airline pilots. The training concept combines structured basic training in Europe with flight phases in professional training environments abroad. The school places great emphasis on airline standards, realistic training environments and a close orientation to current requirements of international airlines.
Locations and training environment
Skyborne operates modern training centres in the UK, including at Gloucestershire Airport. This is complemented by a separate campus in Florida (USA), where many and regular flight hours are possible due to the consistently good weather conditions. For flight students, this means: a very high level of practice, short waiting times and an internationally shaped teaching environment.
Offer of training
Skyborne offers a wide range of professional pilot training – from fully integrated ATPL to modular training modules. The central offer is the “Integrated Airline Transport Pilot Licence”, a complete course from beginners without flight experience to operational maturity for airlines. In addition, there are advanced and supplementary training courses such as MCC courses, instrument flight training or multi-engine flight training.

The flight school attaches importance to professional job preparation. This includes interview training, preparation for selection procedures, simulator checks and support for applications. Requirements
For participation in the training program, applicants usually need:
- Minimum age 18 years at start of training
- Good knowledge of English as the training takes place in English
