An important aspect of choosing a flight school is the cost-benefit ratio. In Romania, due to lower living costs and more efficient training concepts, there are often cheaper overall costs compared to Western European schools. According to an analysis, the total cost of integrated ATPL training in Romania is typically between approximately €55,000 and €70,000.
For individual modules such as PPL, there is a typical range of about €8,000 to €12,000 in Romania. :contentReference[oaicite:9]{index=9} At Transylvania Wings, an indication of about €9,100 was given for the PPL module (see table above).
Please note: In addition to training fees, other expenses may include examination fees, a medical certificate (EASA Class 1 or Class 2), travel, accommodation, local living costs and any additional flight training hours.

Those who want to start training at Transylvania Wings should meet the following minimum requirements:
- Minimum age: 17 years (beginning), often 18 years or depending on the license requirement to obtain a license.
