Pricing structure and indications

At HeliPoland, it should be noted that the prices quoted are considered as indicative values. For example, it is noted that “actual prices may vary depending on the location, type of helicopter or additional services”.
For the PPL(H) training, for example, the hourly price for a flight in the R44 is around **€ 550 net**
These prices usually include flight time, flight instructor and standard conditions, but performance such as additional airport fees, accommodation, transfer or special machinery may incur additional costs. It is advisable to get a personal offer early.

Financing and planning

Anyone seeking professional training – especially for licenses such as CPL(H) – should plan the overall investment carefully. In addition to the pure flight hours, there is also theoretical training, examination fees, medical examination and if necessary. Overnight stays to be considered. The specified amount of about € 75,000 for the CPL(H) training is an indicative measure. Those who already have flight experience or other license privileges can reduce costs and effort by crediting.

Requirements

General conditions

For any training at HeliPoland, basic prerequisites must be met: a suitable medical examination (e.g. Airworthiness certificate), language skills (e.g. English at ICAO level), as well as for certain license types a minimum age and partly already existing flight hours.

Specifics per licence

– **LAPL(H)**: Allows to drive helicopters with a maximum take-off mass of 2 000 kg and up to three passengers. Minimum flight time: 40 h including 20 h with flight instructor, 10 h solo and at least 5 h solo cross-country (about 150 km) according to the school.
– **PPL(H)**: Here the minimum flight time is 45 h (often about 50 h practice) including theoretical training. The license allows private flights worldwide (with appropriate language examination) and is the basis for further licenses.
– **CPL(H)**: For the professional license without prior experience, e.g. for integrated training, at least 135 flight hours (including 50 hours solo) and 350 hours of theoretical training; alternatively, modular paths with more total hours are possible.

Training location and flexibility

HeliPoland states that the theoretical and practical training parts are flexible – both in terms of start time and flight location. For example, the base airfields Kaniów (EPKW) and Bielsko-Biała (EPBA) are mentioned.
