About this video

A newly written technical aviation documentation in 27 chapters. Historical photographs of the Library of Congress accompany the journey from the bicycle workshop to the gliders to the motor flight and the further development of 1905. Own spatial schemes explain buoyancy, steering axes, wing twisting, propellers and experimental methods. The computational examples are specially chosen educational examples; the models are not true-to-measure flight reconstructions. The film uses a new German narration text with synthetic narrative voice and subtitles. The archive images retain their origin and year data. The image rights are documented individually in the list of sources.
