EU exceeds first SAF admixture specification

According to the new EASA report, the reported SAF share of EU airports in 2025 was 2.8 percent. This exceeded the minimum quota of two percent at that time; a total of around 1.1 million tonnes of SAF were reported.

Study sees additional SAF demand by companies

IATA, Airbus and Accenture see a potential of up to 1.9 million tonnes of SAF by 2030 through company purchases of corresponding environmental attributes. The prerequisite is, among other things, clearer accounting rules and simpler procurement methods.
