Structure of the LAPL(A) test
For the acquisition of LAPL (A), two examination areas are required:
✓ Theoretical examination
The theory examination is taken at the competent national aviation authority or the LBA.
It consists of multiple-choice questions in several subject areas.
✓ Practical examination (skill test)
After completion of flight instruction, a practical examination flight shall be conducted with an approved examiner. It is assessed whether the pilot can safely and compliantly fly single-engine aircraft.
