A concrete course example, additional costs and a budget planner will help you compare.
A Published Course Example
The price list of realflies “from 2025” lists the following standard prices. It was tested on 14 October 2026 and serves as a concrete example of a provider. A current written offer remains necessary.
| Performance | Published price |
|---|---|
| Trial day | 80 € |
| Basic course, one week | 490 € |
| Basic course compact, 9 days | 590 € |
| High altitude flight training | 870 € |
| A-Theory | 140 € |
| Organisation fee per high-altitude exit | 90 € |
590 € + 870 € + 140 € = 1,600 € Course fees In the example with a compact basic course. This is not a total price up to the license: Exits, high-flight rental equipment, examinations, landing fees, transport and travel expenses can be added. The trial day is not included in this sum.

Thinking ahead after the course
Own equipment, transport, maintenance, rescue equipment packing, insurance and use of the site affect the ongoing costs. Have a used purchase technically accompanied and in addition to the price also check condition, approved weight range and suitability for your training status.
Please clarify in writing before the start of the course: What is included, what is charged per flight and what happens in the event of weather failure or additional training requirements?
