A coordinated system
A sports parachute system consists of several coordinated parts. The harness connects the jumper to the system. In the container, the main umbrella and reserve are located in separate areas. The colors are for explanation only.
Main umbrella and reserve
The main umbrella is used in the normal jump. The reserve is an additional parachute for certain situations. Selection, maintenance and packaging follow the relevant specifications and the documentation of the manufacturers.
Additional tools
An automatic opening machine can initiate the reserve activation under specified conditions. It is an additional support. The altimeter provides important information. Both do not replace attention, education or practiced decisions.
Fitness and control
In the beginning, you use appropriate school equipment and learn their control. A separate system should be selected only after consultation. This simplified model shows components, but no packing, operating or emergency manual.
