Wings and running gear
A trike consists of a flexible wing and a chassis with motor and seats suspended underneath. The triangular surface carries the aircraft. The three-wheel underframe allows the roll start. This spatial model shows the principle and no particular legal pattern.
Weight force control
In the trike, the pilot moves the control bars relative to the chassis. In this way, the position of the suspended mass relative to the wing surface changes. This gives rise to the tax effect. The movement feels different than a driving stick in a three-axle aircraft and is learned with a flight instructor.
Engine, air and energy
The propeller behind the seats generates thrust. The wing requires a suitable inflow to produce lift. Engine power alone does not prevent flow rupture. Speed, attitude and changes in performance therefore belong together and are trained according to the flight manual of the respective trike.
Two different aircraft
A kite trike has a fixed wing structure. A motor parasol trike, on the other hand, hangs under a paraglider cap. Training and ratings differ. Question before registration explicitly about weight-controlled trikes and the training pattern. The animation serves as orientation and does not replace practical instruction.
